Visma Netvisor

info

To create this connection you need administrator rights in the Netvisor company (KH or TPK), and the company must have a service plan that includes the API (Professional, Premium, or Payroll).

Step 1: Prepare Netvisor

In Netvisor you'll create an API user and grant Exopen's integration access to the company's data. Three values from Netvisor are needed in Step 2: the Business ID, the API User ID, and the API Key.

  1. Sign in to Netvisor as an administrator.

  2. Go to Company menu > Api identifiers and create a new API user. Save the API User ID and API Key — you'll need them in Step 2.

    info

Step-by-step instructions are available in Netvisor's API identifiers guide.

  3. Note the company's Business ID (Y-tunnus). It's available in Netvisor under the company's basic information, see Company basic information.

  4. Grant Exopen's integration access to the company's resources. In Netvisor every resource is blocked by default even after the API user has been created — each resource must be explicitly allowed for Exopen.

    1. Go to Company menu > Rights of interface resources.
    2. Select Custom integrations above the search bar.
    3. Paste Exopen's partner search key 10DF2FEE83FE7AF6A7904255AF607A6E and click Search. This is Exopen's public integration identifier — the same value for every Exopen customer.
    4. When Exopen's integration appears, the resources it can request are listed. Set all of them to Allowed. Resources that Exopen doesn't use are not accessed even if allowed, so it's safe to allow the entire list.
    info

Detailed instructions are available in Netvisor's Rights of interface resources guide. Integration-specific rights do not inherit from general rights — each resource must be allowed explicitly for Exopen's integration.

Step 2: Create the data source in the Exopen Portal

  1. Log in to Exopen's portal.

  2. Go to Data sources and click New data source.

  3. Select Visma Netvisor from the list of available integrations.

  4. Fill in the form using the values from Step 1:

    • Company Name — a name of your choice that helps you recognize this company in the data sources list.
    • Business ID — the company's Business ID / Y-tunnus.
    • API User ID — the user ID created in Netvisor.
    • API Key — the key that belongs to that user ID.
  5. Confirm that the Partner search key in the form matches the value used in Netvisor (10DF2FEE83FE7AF6A7904255AF607A6E). The field is pre-filled and cannot be changed.

  6. Click Add data source.

Once the integration is created, your Netvisor data will start syncing to Exopen automatically. The data source appears in your Data sources list, where you can follow its sync status. The initial sync may take a while depending on the company's size.

tip

If a resource is blocked in Netvisor, the sync fails for that specific resource with a SERVICE_ACCESS_ERROR. If you see such errors, go back to Rights of interface resources in Netvisor and verify that all of Exopen's resources are set to Allowed.
