Kleer

Connect Exopen to Kleer (formerly PE Accounting) to automatically import accounting, accounts receivable and payable, projects, and products.

Step 1: Request API credentials from Kleer

Kleer does not expose the API key and company ID in its own interface. You need to ask Kleer support to issue them for you.

Email support@kleer.se and ask for an API key and company ID for use with Exopen. State which company it applies to.

Kleer will reply with two values:

  • Company ID — identifies your company in Kleer.
  • Token — the API key that gives Exopen read access to your company's data.
info

Store these securely. The token grants access to your Kleer data and should be treated as a password.

Step 2: Create the data source in Exopen

  1. Sign in to the Exopen portal.

  2. Go to Data sources and click New data source.

  3. Select Kleer from the list of available integrations.

  4. Fill in the Company ID and Token you received from Kleer, and click Next.

Exopen validates the credentials against Kleer. If they are not valid, an error is shown — double-check that you entered the correct values, or contact Kleer support again.

  5. Pick which Kleer dimension should be used as Cost center and as Project.

Both are optional. Choose Not applicable if your company does not use that dimension, or if you don't want it wired into Exopen's data model. These mappings determine how cost centers and projects appear in Exopen's Finance model.

  6. Click Add data source.
