Local Admin Mode
Local Admin Mode allows you to manage and protect the settings for your local installation of Exopen Report.
The first time you open Local Admin Mode, you will be prompted to set your own password. This password is personal and is used only to manage the installation on your computer.
Open Local Admin Mode

Open the Admin menu.

Select Local Admin Mode and enter your password.
Resetting the Local Admin Password

The only way to reset the Local Admin password is by resetting your installation entirely.
There is only one way to reset your local admin password, and that is to reset your Exopen Report add-in completely. Before doing so, ensure that you have your ExoSystem connection string ready to reconfigure the add-in. Additionally, unregister your license before proceeding with the reset.
Steps to Reset
- If you are using Exopen Report with a system database, ensure you have your connection string ready to reconfigure the add-in.
- Unregister your license.
- Close Excel.
- Navigate to the folder
_C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Exopen Systems\ExOpen Report_
in File Explorer. - Delete all files in that folder.
- Reconfigure the add-in by following the instructions in the installation manual.
